Neshama Animal Rescue Inc is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization based in Raleigh, North Carolina, dedicated to companion animals with a special emphasis on senior and special needs pets. Having closed to new intakes in Spring 2025, the rescue is transitioning from active adoptions to serving primarily as a sanctuary for senior, hospice, and medical dogs and cats.
Adoptions are winding down as remaining adoptable animals are placed or transferred, while unadoptable and hospice animals remain in lifetime sanctuary care.
