We have been very successful in acheiving that goal since our organization was founded in June, 2008. In 2008, we rescued 100 animals and assisted in the spaying/ neutering of 127 other animals. It has been our goal to continue to match those numbers each year since we are a small, all volunteer rescue, we want to be able to stay within our mission and goals. As of December 2025, we have rescued 2267 animals (cats and dogs) and assisted in helping over 2372 feral and free roaming cats since A Purrfect Start was formed. We hope with continued support and working with others in rescue, we can continue to help more each year.
Landlord approval required for renters; vet records/verification on current and prior pets.
Complete an application (website, phone, or in person); once approved, sign an Adoption Agreement. Fees vary by age/species but are well below the medical costs covered.
$60 for cats and $75 for kittens.
