Francis Kennels Rescue is a 501(c)(3) animal rescue operating alongside a full-service pet care facility in Xenia, Ohio. The rescue saves dogs, cats, and small animals, placing them into permanent homes and active foster networks. They adopt out within a 2-hour radius of their facility and require that all adopted cats live strictly as indoor-only pets.
All current pets in the home must be up to date on vaccines, on heartworm prevention, and spayed/neutered. Landlord verification is required confirming pet breed, size, and weight approval. Adoptions are restricted to a 2-hour radius of the facility (no shipping). Cats must be adopted strictly as indoor-only pets.
Prospective adopters must submit an online adoption application. An approved application is required prior to scheduling a meet and greet.
