Hi! My name is Jennifer Pershing, and I’m the Founder and President of Compassionate Care Sanctuary. I have worked in rescue for five years but have been caring for cats since I was 4 years old. I was the Assistant Director and then Co-Director of our local Humane Society, before starting Compassionate Care Sanctuary and Rescue. I have rescued and fostered hundreds of neonatal kittens and adult cats. We are a 501(3)(c) non profit sanctuary (EIN: 32-0664565). We specialize in cats that are deemed difficult or impossible to adopt, those with special needs, chronic health issues, or ones that have behavioral issues. We take in the cats (and other small animals) no one else wants and give them.
