Saving Pets At Risk, Inc. (SPAR) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue and adoption organization founded in 2005 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The organization rescues abandoned, abused, and neglected companion animals, including dogs and cats, providing essential veterinary care, spay/neuter services, foster placement, and transport assistance. In addition to rehoming pets, SPAR supports the local community through low-cost spay/neuter outreach and pet retention assistance in Pottawatomie County.
