Founded in January 2005, A Better Life – Pet Rescue, Inc. is a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs and cats in Central Florida. Operating through community foster homes, the organization has rescued and placed over 3,000 animals into permanent, loving homes while also running TNR and community support programs.
Starting at $100 (Adult Cats) / $200 (Kittens)
Completion of adoption application and adherence to veterinary care policies (pets are adopted out fixed and up to date on shots and prevention).
Prospective adopters select an available pet, submit an online adoption application form, and can expect a response within approximately 48 hours.
Not currently taking in pets directly unless the owner can foster or has a foster lined up, but offers courtesy postings and rehoming assistance resources.
