Complete an adoption application and obtain approval.
Prospective adopters must submit an online adoption application to get pre-approved, after which an Adoption Coordinator reaches out to assist with finding a match. All adopted pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
Pet Pantry of Lancaster County is a limited-admission, no-kill rescue with intakes on an appointment-only basis based on housing and foster availability. Animals undergo medical and behavioral assessments (including FeLV/FIV testing for cats), and surrender fees are required ($50 per cat, $75 per cat litter, $75 per dog, $100 per dog litter). Owners surrendering an animal must also provide the required records.
