Established in 2018, Philly Bully Team is a 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue that provides safety, medical care, and rehabilitation for over 300 animals each year, including dogs, cats, and other pets. While specializing in pit bull type dogs and urgent medical cases, the organization assists animals of all species and places them into carefully screened forever homes.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old, undergo a background check for all household members, provide a copy of deed or lease, have all current resident pets up to date on DHPP/Rabies vaccines and spayed/neutered, and allow veterinary reference checks.
Submit an online adoption application accompanied by a $25 non-refundable deposit. Once processed (up to 2 weeks) and background checks are cleared, approved applicants connect with the foster family for a mandatory meet-and-greet before finalizing the adoption.
Philly Bully Team is typically unable to take owner surrenders, but offers an Owner Surrender Form (PDF/DOCX) via email to info@phillybullyteam.org to review requests when capacity allows.
