Crossroads Animal Rescue (CARE) / Oconee Animal Rescue Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Crossroads Animal Hospital in Seneca, South Carolina. Interested adopters begin by submitting a species-specific adoption application. Applications are typically processed within two business days. Because pets reside in foster care, an appointment is scheduled to bring the animal to the clinic for a meet-and-greet. Once approved, the adopter pays the adoption fee to finalize the adoption.
Surrender requests are submitted via an online form and require high-quality photos. Intake is subject to available foster placement and funding; donations, up-to-date vet care, or temporary fostering by the owner increase the chances of intake. If the rescue cannot assist within one week, owners are advised to contact other local rescues.
