Founded in 2010 by Gloria Davey, PAWS in the Panhandle Rescue and Adoption is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal welfare organization and sanctuary based in Lancaster, South Carolina. The organization rescues animals from overcrowded local shelters and takes in owner surrenders, providing shelter, veterinary care, low-cost spay/neuter services, and adoption placements to help reduce area euthanasia rates.
