All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc. (A.A.R.F.) is a 501(c)(3) foster-based animal rescue organization based in Cookeville, Tennessee, serving the Upper Cumberland region. Operated by volunteers out of foster homes, the organization saves homeless and high-risk pets from local shelters and strays, offering local and long-distance adoptions as well as transport programs.
Completion of an adoption application and adoption contract, plus foster parent approval.
Interested adopters complete an online adoption application, which is reviewed directly by the animal's foster parent. Once approved, local adopters coordinate pickup with the foster parent, and long-distance adopters receive guidance on transport options.
A.A.R.F. accepts dog surrender applications only from residents within the 14 Upper Cumberland counties, subject to space availability, foster home matching, and a physical and temperament evaluation. If the pet is not spayed/neutered or up to date on vaccines, a donation toward veterinary care is requested.
