Feral Feline Friends of East Tennessee

Feral Feline Friends of East Tennessee is an all volunteer, nonprofit organization working to humanely reduce the outdoor cat population in the Knoxville area and surrounding counties through Trap Neuter Return (TNR). Volunteers humanely trap feral cats, have them spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and given any other critical care needed, then return them to their original location. This stops the breeding cycle and reduces behaviors linked to mating, such as spraying, fighting, and yowling. The organization does not remove feral cats from a caller's neighborhood or place of business, and does not loan traps for cats to be taken to be euthanized. Feral Feline Friends of East Tennessee considers TNR the only effective, humane, and long term solution for managing feral cat populations, and it also places adoptable cats and kittens, with an adoption fee of $125. The group is open Saturdays from 10 AM to 5 PM and Sundays from 10 AM to 3 PM, and is closed the rest of the week.
