Clarksville, TN
Founded in autumn 2020, Finders Keepers Cat Rescue set out to help the stray cat and kitten population of the Clarksville-Montgomery County, Tennessee community find loving, lasting homes. In its first three years, that mission became a reality for over 400 cats and kittens, and counting. The organization is entirely volunteer based, with everyone balancing full time jobs alongside running the rescue, so they ask for patience with response time to calls, texts, and messages. The adoption fee is $125. After an initial application review, which usually takes one to three days, a meet and greet is arranged between potential adopters and the foster cat, either at a local PetSmart or at the foster family's home.
It's easy to get sticker shock at our $125 adoption fee, especially when it's so easy to get a "free kitten" through rehoming groups on social media sites.
Once we do an initial application review (usually 1-3 days), a meet and greet is set up between the potential adopters and the foster cat(s), either at a local PetSmart or at the foster family's home.
