Forget-Me-Not Animal Rescue is an entirely volunteer-run, foster-based rescue dedicated to saving and rehoming companion animals in need. Based in the Fairbanks and North Pole areas of Alaska, the organization provides comprehensive veterinary care, foster housing, and adoption services, as well as an Unforgettable Friends hospice program.

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, travel in person to Fairbanks for meet-and-greet appointments, and agree to return the pet to the rescue if they are ever unable to keep it.

How it works

View available pets, submit an adoption application for a specific animal, wait 3-5 days for review and selection, schedule and complete a meet-and-greet within 48 hours, sign the adoption contract, pay the fee, and receive transferred medical records and microchip details.
