Marion Animal Resource Connection (MARC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal welfare organization based in Sequatchie, Tennessee, dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation and improving animal lives in Marion County. MARC provides low-cost spay and neuter services, pet adoption and foster initiatives, community education, and rehoming assistance for both cats and dogs.
Completion of an adoption application, agreement to keep MARC as secondary contact on microchips, and allowing time (following the Rule of 3) for the animal to decompress and adjust to their new home.
Prospective adopters can browse available animals online, submit an adoption application (via Shelterluv), and complete an evaluation and matching process prior to adoption.
Intake is strictly limited to owners willing to foster their pet until an adoptive home is found. Animals brought to the center for evaluation receive veterinary assessments and medications by appointment, but do not remain on-site.
