Music City Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, foster-based animal rescue organization serving the Middle Tennessee area. Dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned, abused, and neglected animals, MCAR provides medical care, socialization, and loving foster homes until pets find their forever families. All animals adopted through the rescue are fully vetted and spayed or neutered prior to placement.
Completion of an adoption application and meeting with rescue representatives; all adopted pets are altered and fully vetted prior to placement.
Prospective adopters submit an online application (Dog or Cat Application) and arrangements are made to meet adoptable pets either at scheduled partner adoption events or designated meeting locations.
MCAR accepts surrender inquiries from Davidson and surrounding counties (out-of-county surrenders may need transport to a foster). Surrenders require temperament, age, and health assessments, a submitted photo, description, explanation, and an appreciated donation to cover care costs, subject to available foster space.
