Rural Animal Rescue Effort

Rural Animal Rescue Effort (RARE) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing neglected and abandoned companion animals, including cats and dogs, from underserved rural areas in Middle Tennessee. They provide temporary housing, medical care, spay/neuter assistance, and transport services to place animals into loving foster and adoptive homes across the greater Nashville area. Through rescue efforts and population control initiatives, RARE works to reduce extreme companion animal overpopulation.
