Founded in 2014, Emily's Legacy Rescue Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, foster-based animal rescue dedicated to helping displaced animals find forever homes and making Wichita Falls, Texas a no-kill community. The rescue fully vets, fosters, and socializes dogs and cats before placement, while also holding weekly adoption events and utilizing a temporary housing facility called the Pupperosa.
$85 for cats, $125 for dogs ($50 for Pupperosa dogs)

Animals are posted on Facebook, Instagram, and their website via Adopt-A-Pet once ready for adoption. Prospective adopters can submit an adoption application and adoption agreement, or meet animals at weekly adoption events typically held on Saturdays at Petco in Wichita Falls.
