Hillcrest Animal Rescue Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue based in Farmersville and serving North Texas. The organization is dedicated to saving homeless, neglected, and abused companion animals through foster care, comprehensive medical treatment, and loving adoption placements. They ensure every rescue receives veterinary care, testing, vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter surgery before finding their forever home.
Adoption fees vary; 100% of adoption fees are used to offset rescue and medical expenses.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older. Adoptions are only approved for companion animal purposes. Current and previous pet owners must provide good veterinary references, and existing pets in the home must be spayed or neutered (unless medically exempt). All family members must be present at the meet-and-greet.
Interested adopters must submit an online adoption application. Once the application is approved based on the needs of the animal, Hillcrest will schedule a meeting where all household family members must be present. If an adopter can no longer keep their pet at any point, the animal must be returned to the rescue.
If at any time an adopter cannot keep an animal adopted from Hillcrest Animal Rescue, the animal is required to be returned to the rescue.
