LifeLong Rescue is a volunteer-run, foster-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing abandoned dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens, primarily from rural areas in North Texas. Operating without a physical shelter facility, the rescue rehabilitates animals in loving foster homes while providing veterinary treatment, spay/neuter services, and socialization. They serve the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and communities within a 90-mile radius, placing pets into permanent lifelong homes.

Applicants must reside within the Dallas area/DFW region (90-mile radius). Requires an adoption application, thorough interview, and mandatory on-site home assessment visit. Adoptions are strictly refused to households with children under 6 years of age, homes where small children are often present, homes with unsterilized pets, or families who have previously surrendered pets. Cats must be neutered if not already at the time of adoption.
Interested adopters must complete an adoption application, participate in a thorough interview, and undergo an on-site home assessment visit before finalizing an adoption. Meet-and-greets are scheduled after the application is completed.
LifeLong Rescue focuses on abandoned animals and accepts surrenders from the public on an exceedingly limited, case-by-case basis. They generally do not accept pets from private homes, with very few exceptions.
