People As Wise Stewards (P.A.W.S. Inc.) is an animal welfare organization founded in 2004 in De Leon, Texas, dedicated to improving the lives of community cats through spay/neuter and TNR. In addition to low-cost spay/neuter initiatives and foster-based adoptions, they operate a barn cat program to place sterilized feral cats into safe rural homes.
$70 for cats/kittens
Barn cat adopters must agree to confine the cat for two weeks to acclimate to the surroundings, provide a safe shelter environment protected from predators and weather, and supply healthy food and fresh water daily without withholding food.
