PAWS for Progress Start an adoption application

Paws for Progress is a 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned and stray animals, including cats and dogs. Serving Ladonia as well as Fannin, Hunt, and Delta Counties in rural Northeast Texas, the group provides shelter, medical care, socialization, and out-of-state transport to help pets find loving homes.

From $125

Cats: $125 in Texas, $295 outside of Texas (includes transport fee)

Requirements

Application questionnaire, reference checks, home visit (when possible), meet and greet (when possible), adoption fee, and adoption contract.

How it works

1. Submit the PFP Adopter Questionnaire online via Jotform. 2. Rescue contacts applicant to answer questions and provide additional photos/details. 3. Application approval and scheduling of an in-person meet & greet (or remote consultation for out-of-area adopters). 4. Complete and submit the official Jotform PFP Adoption Form. 5. Finalize arrangements to bring your new pet home.
