PAWS & Purrs Rescue Corp is a small, foster-based rescue in San Antonio, Texas, dedicated to saving cats and kittens and supporting the growth of trap-neuter-return (TNR) programs to fight overpopulation. It's a 501(c)(3) public charity. San Antonio has one of the highest euthanasia rates in the country, and Texas as a whole has one of the highest euthanasia rates of any state, so PAWS & Purrs works to advocate for cats, educate the public, and save as many cats and kittens as they can. They don't always require home checks, but a meet-and-greet is required before an adopter can take a cat or kitten home.
