Southern Paws Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) foster-based animal rescue founded in 2021 and based in Asher, Oklahoma. Dedicated to saving both dogs and cats across rural Oklahoma communities where resources are limited, they provide essential veterinary care, spay/neuter services, vaccinations, and loving foster homes until pets find their forever families. When funding permits, they also assist local residents with spay/neuter costs to help reduce pet overpopulation.
Prospective adopters can submit an online application (with dedicated forms for dogs and cats) to be matched with an animal in foster care.
Southern Paws Rescue takes in abandoned, neglected, unwanted, and injured animals as foster space allows, but they note that due to limited foster space, they cannot guarantee acceptance of an animal.
