Evergreen Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) foster-based non-profit dedicated to rescuing and caring for cats and dogs in Sanpete County and Central Utah. They provide fostering, medical care, adoption services, and a dedicated working cat program placing unsocialized or feral cats into safe barn and pest-control homes. Without a physical facility, their animals are cared for in volunteer foster homes until placed with loving families.
Adoption fees apply and go directly back into veterinary care and rescue expenses
Completion of an adoption application to ensure a good fit and financial readiness. Working cats must be adopted in groups of at least two and provided safe shelter, food, and care.
Prospective adopters view available animals via Facebook (or upcoming online database) and submit an adoption application. Adopters sign an agreement stipulating that they will return the animal to the rescue if ever unable or unwilling to care for them at any point in life.
The rescue is not currently able to accept owner surrenders or rehoming requests in most cases, but may be able to connect owners with helpful resources.
