Established in 2008, the Humane Society of Northern Utah is a 501(c)(3) volunteer-run rescue dedicated to preventing animal cruelty and finding forever homes for companion animals across Northern Utah. Primarily operating through a network of foster homes and adoption events, they adopt out over 1,000 animals each year including kittens, adult cats, and seniors.

Completed adoption application, signed adoption contract agreeing that the pet must be returned to HSNU if not a match, and payment of adoption fees.
Browse available animals online or via Facebook albums. Submit a downloaded application via email (1adoptions@gmail.com) or mail. Applications are approved on a first-come, first-served basis with fees paid securing priority. Meet pets at foster homes or attend weekend adoption events, then sign the contract and pay adoption fees via Venmo (@hsnu-rescue) or donation form.
Any animal adopted from HSNU is returnable at any time, and returning them to HSNU is strictly required by contract if they are not a match.
