Orchard Animal Outreach is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Utah dedicated to supporting feral and community cats. Working alongside Orchard Animal Clinic, they provide low- or no-cost spay/neuter surgeries, comprehensive veterinary treatments, pet food bank support for colony caretakers, and managed TNR programs across the Salt Lake City and West Bountiful areas.
The TNR program and pricing are strictly designated for feral community cats returned to outdoor caregivers, not for adoptable cats or kittens entering homes.
Surgery is $45.00 for male cats and $55.00 for female cats. Caregivers can also name their price and pay what they can afford, with $0 cost TNR options made possible through community donations.
The package includes spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, FVRCP vaccination, topical Revolution, microchip registration, exam, anesthesia, spay incision tattoo for females, antibiotic and pain management injections, an ear tip, and overnight recovery in their trap at the clinic.
All cats must arrive in their own properly sized, newspaper-lined humane cat trap (carriers or transfer cages are not accepted). Traps must be completely covered with lightweight, breathable dark material and labeled with the caregiver's name, cat's name, and daytime phone number. Drop-off is between 8:30 AM and 8:45 AM.
No, they do not participate in RTF and require all cats in a colony to have a confirmed, daily caregiver to provide food, water, shelter, and medical monitoring.
