Friends of Duke Rescue is a 501(c)(3) foster-based animal rescue serving Northern Vermont and beyond. Dedicated to caring for and advocating for companion animals in need, they provide sheltering, foster placement, medical care, and adoption services for both cats and dogs.
Applicants must submit a completed foster/adopt application, only apply if 100% invested in adopting, sign an adoption contract upon approval/meet and greet, and pay the adoption fee in full.
Applicants must complete and submit an adoption application via email. Once approved, FDR works with the applicant to match them with a suitable pet and arranges a meet and greet. If successful, an adoption contract is signed, the adoption fee is paid in full, and the pet can go home.
