Happy Tails Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) limited-intake, no-kill animal shelter based in Rock Falls, Illinois, caring for stray and abandoned dogs and cats until they find permanent homes. They promote pet adoption and humane education across their community while maintaining a dedicated cat adoption program. All cats and kittens receive comprehensive medical care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchipping, and preventative treatments prior to adoption.
Cats: $100, Kittens: $100 (non-refundable)
Adopters must be at least 21 years of age and submit a completed adoption application.
Prospective adopters can browse available pets online or visit the shelter in person. An online Cat Adoption Application must be completed, after which office staff review responses and act as matchmakers to facilitate adoption.
