Call 757-595-1399, ext. 100, to arrange an evaluation and surrender appointment. Acceptance depends on the animal's health, suitability for adoption and available space; a waiting list may apply. Bring veterinary records and complete the cat surrender form. A care donation is requested, but inability to donate alone does not disqualify an adoptable animal. The SPCA does not accept strays or feral, aggressive or terminally ill animals.
