PetPivot AutoScooper 12 Review: Quiet, Compact, and Affordable
The PetPivot AutoScooper 12 earns a 4.9-star rating, with high marks for quality, design, ease of use, and value. It is a self-cleaning litter box that operates at 32 dB, making it suitable for smaller spaces and apartment living. The unit features an open design that gives cats plenty of room to move, a tray area of 12 × 14 inches, and a litter volume capacity similar to a larger 15 × 16 inches model, so it works well for most cats.
The AutoScooper 12 pauses its cleaning cycle immediately if any motion is detected, and it can be switched to manual mode or turned off to help younger kittens get used to it. Users are advised to empty the drawer every 5-7 days to prevent odors, mold, and flies. The unit is priced at less than $150, is quiet, easy to use, and offers performance that rivals much more expensive models.
Pet owners who have tried the AutoScooper 12 report that the automatic cleaning function ensures a fresh litter box for every visit, improving the cats’ quality of life and reducing the owner’s daily scooping chores.
