The Peninsula Spay/Neuter Fund (PSNF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of homeless dogs and cats on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula through education and low-cost spay/neuter assistance. With community support, PSNF has helped fund more than 5,000 spay and neuter surgeries for dogs and cats on the peninsula. As of December 2025, the program is open to households who can show proof of public assistance or limited income; applicants should check the current application for accepted documents and income guidelines. The fund relies entirely on donations and grants, which can be made by mail, through Wells Fargo, in person at Kenai Veterinary Hospital, or through the Fred Meyer Community Rewards and iGive.com programs.
