Bella Vista, AR
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit shelter operating in Bella Vista since 1985, rescuing and rehabilitating homeless animals and providing food, shelter and medical care until they are reunited with owners or adopted. It places more than 500 cats and dogs a year.
$60 for cats
The fee covers spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, worming and microchip registration.
Visit the shelter to meet available animals, then complete and email the adoption application to bvas@sbcglobal.net to await approval.
Estimated by applying the AVMA's 2024 national cat-ownership rate (32.1% of households) to the county's real household count from the Census Bureau — a national rate applied locally, not a local survey. Population and housing figures are from the Census Bureau's American Community Survey.
Cats are $60 and dogs are $75. The fee covers spay/neuter, deworming, age-appropriate vaccinations including rabies if the animal is old enough, and a microchip.
Tuesday through Sunday 10am-4pm. Closed Monday.
