Mew was started in Bentonville, Arkansas on a beautiful spring day, March 19, 2019. A group of volunteers in the local animal welfare community saw the need and knew they had the passion and resources to make a difference. With years of aninmal welfare experience under our belts, we knew we could launch a different and more modern kind of rescue. Mew continues our work today with the help of the local community who adopts, donates and supports our mission. We focus on strays and owner surrenders in the local area especially Benton County, Arkansas, and on our Mew Cares program. Mew Cares helps owners and their cats stay together and avoid surrenders, by helping with vet care, supplies and.
