Colorado KAT is an entirely volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Delta, Montrose, Ouray and San Miguel counties. It provides low-cost spay/neuter services to reduce cat overpopulation, particularly among community and abandoned cats. Through education and partnerships with veterinarians and animal-welfare organizations, it works to expand spay/neuter, TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return) and rescue opportunities.
No, they're primarily a TNVR (trap-neuter-vaccinate-return) organization for Colorado community cats, though they do sometimes adopt out cats too.
