Wells Valley Cat Rescue consists of an amazing group of volunteers, foster families, and veterinary staff who are dedicated to helping us fulfill our mission of Wells Valley Cat Sanctuary, Inc was founded on Aug 23, 2013 to assist feral cats and kittens in New Milford and the surrounding areas. On March 1st 2017, the feral cat community of Wells Valley Cat Sanctuary took the name Friends of Feral Homeless Cats and Kittens. On that same day, Wells Valley Cat Rescue (WVCR) was born. WVCR moved from the farm on Wells Rd. and became a foster-based rescue with all of the cats and kittens in our care residing in foster homes. WVCR continues to provide care to homeless cats and kittens throughout.
