Pupstarz Rescue Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer-run, no-kill animal welfare organization based in New York City, founded in 2015. Operating as a foster-based rescue, it is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs and cats at high risk of euthanasia in public shelters or suffering from abuse and neglect. Since its inception, the rescue has saved and rehomed over 4,800 companion animals across the tri-state area.
Adopters must be at least 25 years of age, reside within the tri-state area (or contact the rescue prior to applying if outside), and travel to meet the animal in person.
Prospective adopters submit an application (online via their dog or cat application forms), undergo a screening process, and meet the animal in person before final placement.
