Misfit Mountain is a 501(c)(3) foster-based animal rescue and sanctuary based in Clyde, North Carolina, serving the Greater Asheville and Western North Carolina regions. Committed to a no-kill philosophy, the organization rescues and rehomes cats, dogs, pigs, chickens, and other small animals. In addition to long-term adoption and sanctuary care for animals with disabilities or illness, they offer temporary camp stays for pets whose owners are experiencing health crises.
