Varies depending on the individual animal

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 and provide valid identification. Landlord approval is required for rental, trailer or condominium housing. Existing pets must be spayed or neutered and current on vaccinations, as verified with a veterinarian. Adopted cats must remain indoors, and pets may not be adopted as gifts.

How it works

Prospective adopters fill out an online questionnaire/adoption form, after which staff reviews the application during a 1-3 day processing period, checks veterinarian records and landlord approval, and completes the adoption paperwork.
