Operation Saves is a veteran-led nonprofit rescue and sanctuary based in Toledo, Ohio, dedicated to saving, rehabilitating, and rehoming forgotten and displaced animals. As an all-species rescue, they care for domestic cats and dogs alongside farm and exotic animals through foster placement and adoption. All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations before finding their forever homes.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, present valid legal identification with a current address, and provide proof of residence if needed. Applicants must permit veterinary reference checks to ensure current pets are vaccinated, and a meet-and-greet may be required if adopting an animal that will live with other pets.
Browse available pets online and complete an adoption application. Once submitted, a team member will reach out to guide you through the next steps, with adoptions typically finalized within 2–5 days following application approval and a successful meet-and-greet.
