Angels Among Us Animal Rescue (Angels Among US Animal Sanctuary Inc) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue organization dedicated to saving cats and dogs from abandonment, abuse, and high-kill shelters under a strict "No Animal Left Behind" policy. Supported by a network of volunteers and foster homes across Tennessee and several northeastern states, the rescue rehabilitates, vets, and places companion animals into permanent homes.
Adopters must complete an application, keep pets indoors (cats must be indoor-only and never declawed), not keep pets outside, and pay any applicable quarantine fees (such as a $120 quarantine fee mandated in Massachusetts).
Prospective adopters submit a completed online adoption application, after which an adoption coordinator contacts them within 72 hours to review criteria and finalize placement.
Adopted cats must strictly be kept indoors only and are never permitted to be declawed.
All rescued animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm tested/treated if applicable, and provided with comprehensive veterinary records.
An adoption coordinator typically reviews submitted applications and contacts applicants within 72 hours.
