Rescue Purrfect, based in Springfield, Pennsylvania, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) started by founder Michele Miller. What began as a love for animals grew into a passion for saving homeless, unwanted, and abandoned cats and kittens. Michele was drawn into rescue work while working as a foreclosure appraiser, where she encountered cats and kittens locked inside foreclosed homes or abandoned outside them, without food or water. That experience led her to start Rescue Purrfect. The organization accepts adoption applications and foster applications through Shelterluv.
