Barrington Partnership for Animal Welfare (BPAW) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to assisting homeless and stray animals in Barrington, Rhode Island, and surrounding areas. Operating without a physical shelter facility, BPAW boards adoptable animals at local veterinary hospitals or in volunteer foster homes. They also actively manage community and feral cat populations through Trap-Neuter-Return-Manage (TNRM), medical care, and kitten socialization for adoption.
Barrington PAW does not have a physical shelter facility; available animals are housed at an area veterinary hospital or in foster homes. Prospective adopters should contact the organization at info@barringtonpaw.org or call 401-524-7742 to arrange to meet available animals.
Barrington PAW does not, as a rule, accept owner-surrendered animals. Their primary focus is to assist homeless animals who have no one else to advocate for them. Owners unable to keep their pets are strongly advised to find a friend or family member to take them.
