Clemson Paw Partners

Founded in 2017 by Margaret J. Thompson, Clemson Paw Partners is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to curbing companion animal overpopulation in Pickens County and surrounding areas. In March 2022, they opened a dedicated low-cost spay and neuter clinic in Central, South Carolina, providing affordable surgeries, vaccinations, and veterinary care for homeless animals and low-income households. Supported heavily by community donations and volunteers, their programs help prevent euthanasia by keeping pets healthy and lowering shelter intake.
