4Paws Rescue Team (Four PAWS Rescue of Connecticut Inc) is a 100% volunteer-run, foster-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing neglected, abandoned, and unwanted cats and kittens. Serving Northern Virginia and the greater DC Metro area for over 30 years, they provide medical treatment, foster placement, and adoption services with a strict no-kill commitment.
Completed adoption application and contract, approved home preparation, payment of adoption fee, and agreement to return the cat directly to 4Paws if ever unable to keep it.
Browse available cats online or attend an adoption event, submit an adoption form and contract, allow approximately one week for application review, pay the adoption fee upon approval, prepare your home, and follow pickup procedures to welcome your cat.
If an adopter can no longer keep their cat at any point in the future, the adoption contract requires the cat to be returned directly to 4Paws (with returns accepted within 30 days eligible for a refund).
