Founded in March 2001, Guardian Angel Pet Rescue is a volunteer-run, no-kill 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving homeless and at-risk companion animals in the greater Memphis area. They assist in rescuing cats and dogs from high-kill shelters, providing them with refuge, medical care, nourishment, and loving foster homes until they find permanent families. Through community networking, fostering, and adoption, the organization works to give vulnerable animals a second chance at life.
Rescued companion animals are placed in volunteer foster homes where they receive refuge and medical care until permanent loving homes are found through networking and adoptions.
