Completion of adoption application, reference checks, phone interview, and video chat.
The adoption process consists of submitting an application, reference checks, a phone interview, and a video chat with the pet and foster parent before out-of-state transport.
The adoption fee for cats includes spay/neuter, vaccinations (rabies, HCP, and FeLV with boosters), a microchip with free lifetime registration, deworming, transport, combo testing, and flea prevention.
Due to high euthanasia rates in Texas shelters, the rescue transports adoptable pets to northern and out-of-state areas with fewer unwanted pets, giving animals a better chance of finding forever homes while freeing up local shelter space.
They offer fostering for bottle babies needing round-the-clock feeding, weaned kittens, mama cats with litters, adult cats needing temporary homes, and medical cases recovering from conditions such as ringworm and upper respiratory infections.
