Forgotten Purrs (Cat Rescue) is a volunteer driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the Greater Houston, Texas area, dedicated to giving homeless, abandoned, and neglected street cats a second chance. The organization focuses on cats living outdoors who are often overlooked, including sick, injured, feral, senior, and medically vulnerable cats that many others are unable to take on, offering extensive veterinary treatment before a cat begins its journey toward recovery. Forgotten Purrs was started after its founders witnessed how many cats were suffering alone on the streets with nowhere to go, and they couldn't accept that. You can meet adoptable cats and kittens, enter a raffle, and find your new best friend at their events.
