Dog adoption fee: $450. Contact the rescue for cat adoption fees.

Requirements

All applicants must be at least 21 years old with a valid government-issued ID. Landlord approval is required for renters and home ownership is verified for homeowners. Authorization for a home visit and signing of an adoption agreement are required. Pets are not adopted out as gifts unless the recipient chooses them.

How it works

Start by submitting an adoption application. After review, a volunteer contacts the applicant, and references, vet history, and landlord/HOA policies are checked. Foster-to-adopt options are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and approved adopters are matched and connected with the pet's foster until arrival.
