OneLife Rescue and Rehabilitation is an all-volunteer, foster-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and placing animals into loving homes. Based in Burleson, Texas, they take in companion animals, including cats and kittens primarily sourced from Oklahoma City area shelters, and provide full veterinary care, temperament evaluation, and foster placement. All adoptable pets receive essential medical services including spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and FeLV/FIV testing.
Included in each adoption fee: spay/neuter, FELV/FIV testing for all cats/kittens, up-to-date vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, deworming, and a 24PetWatch microchip.
Adopted pets must live strictly indoors as part of the family. All existing household pets (dogs and cats) must be spayed or neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Adopters submit an online application, which is reviewed by board members. References and veterinary records are checked, followed by a potential home visit and an introductory meeting between the family and the foster caregiver. Once approved, adopters sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
